Puno
November 21, 2020
After a wonderful time in the Colca Cañon we made our way to Puno on a touristic bus. It was not the most comfortable 7 hours of our lives, but we made it unscathed to Puno.

Tomorrow, we will head to the floating islands on the lake Titicaca, where we will spend two days and one night with the indigenous inhabitants. The people here live very different lives, with their own customs, languages (Quechua and Aymara) and religion.
Puno is at 3827 meters above sea level. We have been drinking coca tea and chewing coca leaves again to lessen the effects of the altitude sickness and are taking it easy for a few days.
